Q&A: Application Form Worries, Waiting For Exam Results and more…
APRIL
good afternoon po ulit and thanks po sa mga suggestions nio sa mga prev. inquiries ko.its been 2mos since i took my nclex na po sa makati for california state that was aug.5,2008.Until now po kc, the consultancy that assisted us during the days we were processing our nclex told me that they havent received my result kasi sa kanila po nakaaddress sa manila.and they also suggested that we will just have to wait for it kasi d rin naman sasabihin ang result ko kahit tawagan pa ang brn. What i would want to inquire po sana ulit is if there are other ways i could do to ff. up on my result myself at kung pwede po bang magparesend sa ibang address ng result if ever sa consultancy man po nagkaproblema.what po kaya pwedeng icontact na numbers if pwede iparesend.thank you and God Speed..
It’s true that even if you give them a call they will not disclose the outcome of your exam. The best you could do is give them a call and inform them about the situation. The most that they can do is resend the results again with the given address and they might be able to shed some light on what caused the delay with the results of your exam. You can give them a call at 1 (916) 574-7697 from 8 to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays Pacific Time.

GOOD DAY po…this is Ocai po ulit.
Ms. Joan Clarify ko lang po,

Thank you and GOD BLESS you more
Yup that is correct. When you go to the PearsonVue website, click on My Activity and then login with your username and password. Once you are logged in, on the left side there is the update profile button. Its always my pleasure to help and I am just thankful that there are people like you supporting the site. Let’s just let other people know about it so that we can help more people who are in the same situation as us. God bless and good luck!

hi ms. joan! ur website is really a big help in providing us nurses information about NCLEX. i just want to ask you if it is possible to use a close relative’s address in the US for mailing the requirements to California BON? Like me (phils.) – relative (US) – california BON and vice versa. i would like to ask also if the address that I will be placing on the application form will be my address here in the Phils. or my relative’s? thank you very much! =)
Yes its fine to use a US address in your application form. But please take note that all correspondence coming from the California BON will be sent there. So just make sure that whatever correspondence you will be getting from them would be relayed to you by your relatives in the US.
ILMER
thank you very much miss joan,,,more power to you ma’am keep up the good work…
one thing more ma’am i accidentally pass my attached 1 recent 2×2 id photo but it is not a passport size is this a problem po ba?
Its fine. What is needed in the California BON is a 2×2 picture not Passport size anyways. And if ever there would be a problem the California BON will correspond with you via mail.

I have some questions regarding the nclex application…
Will I send the actual bank draft cheque to the state where I’m appying for??? Because someone told me that I will just send a photocopy of it.
Can I send my requirements through regular mail at the post office/station? or is it necessary for me to send it via fedex/lbc/etc??? thanks…=)
You need to send the original bankdraft maybe what your friend is telling you is to photocopy it for your own documentation. Also you can use regular post office some just prefer other couriers because its fast and you can track your packages while it is in transit to its designated location.

dear ma’am joan,
I have posted a thread previously on how to retake nclex after failing and ur advise is really helpful on the steps of retaking. Now i already pass the page 5 of the retake form in vermont to PRC, however, i have a problem on sending mine part page 1-4 of the form coz i can’t find a bank that will make a bankdraft for me to be able to attched the payment in the application form that i will send. I already tried BPI and Allied bank so far but they don’t cater (though BPI did before in my first take) unless u have a dollar account and i dont have that. Right now I don’t know how to pay the $30 retake application fee. Do u know any means of paying it or maybe banks that will accept bankdraft even without a $ account? i tried to search but i can’t really find similar problem that i have.
Also I am confuse with 365days open for the eligibility??? It’s already past 1 year since i took my first exam in nclex in vermont. How this affect my application? do i need new registration form as if my first time to register or just retake form?
(I already passed the page 5 of the retake form in the PRC and paid the express mailing. i’m just concern if i did pass the right form?
Lastly i dont know what to fill up in this question of the form. “I have practiced nsg as defined in 26VSA 1576, for atleast: 120 days (960 hrs) in the last 5 yrs or 50 days (400 hrs) in the last 2 yrs?”
pls help me, i have spent whole day researching on this matter but i cant find specific answers to my questions.
Thanks a lot ma’am joan!
