hi!

i was wondering if anyone can help me…i am currently in seattle, washington right now…i’m about to become a resident alien and will be getting my social security number soon. i called up the washington BON and was told i need to have my TOR evaluated with CGFNS but it doesn’t necessarily mean i need to take the exam. is this true? and i still also need to take up TOEFL. which is ok with me…but a friend of mine who is a resident in hawaii took a california nclex and processed a reciprocity with hawaii after he got his cali license…and he said the nclex is all that is required in cali..no more toefl…i asked about this with the BON too and they told me i need to have proof of california residence for endorsement…so i’m kinda confused right now whether to a.) just process everything here in washington or b.) try to do it “the easy way”, if it really is the easy way, and just apply for cali and have my cali license endorsed to washington….

anyone here taking the cgfns qualifying exam on Mar 2010? i need accurate advice as to when is the best time to apply for the IELTS exam. im sitting for the mar 2010 cgfns qualifying exam, is it more practical to wait for the qualifying result before i apply for ielts? no one would want to pay for the ielts exam if he/she failed in the cgfns qualifying exam. has anyone tried this strategy?

yes, i am having the same problem too..i plan to apply in Washington state, what do i need to do to obtain the fingerprint-based background and the social security number they are needing initially for the application? thank you! looking forward on your reply! thanks! Godbless!

and Ms. Joan do i need finger printing card? Could i just request for that in Washington State since i’m here in the Philippines?

hello maam…just want to ask po maam kung yong dapat bang bayaran upon registering sa pearson vue is $200 po ba or is it $350 po since d2 po sa philippines ko po balak magtake.magkasama na po ba na babayaran agad un pag magregister na po ako or magkahiwalay po ang bayad ng pagreregister sa pearson at ung sa pag schedule po ng exam? tnx po maam….

Hello Ms. Joan,Good day.. I want to ask about my existing application in BON-CA.Since I started to process my endorsement in Vermont, do they cancel my application there because I endorse my requirements to Vermont? or they will wait till my result expire. My NCLEX result will only expire this November 2009. One thing is, I want to have a license active in CA so,I don’t know if I could keep 2 licenses in 2 states? I hope u get my point.Thanks a lot
