hi miss joan, i just passed nclex cali 6 mos ago, ano na po dapat ko gawin ngayon, wla po ako any idea what to do next… hope you can help me.. thanks alot!!! =)

Well it actually depends on you. Of course you can always find possible employers that can sponsor you to have work and papers for the US. If you have extra finances, you can also start working on obtaining a VisaScreen and the IELTS which is a prerequisite for the VisaScreen application. Most agencies now require you to have VisaScreen prior to being accepted but there might be some out there that might also shoulder the expenses for the said requirement. You can also start earning experience while waiting for your papers to be processed and at the same time earn some money for the expenses.

Good day Maam. I have applied for a VISAscreen certification last january of 2009 or was it december 2008. Until now, i have not received notice of what requirements i lack because i have not received my VISA screen certificate yet… Could you assist me with this matter??? Thank you very much for your assistance. God Bless and more power.
Okay first of all how did you apply for your VisaScreen (VS)? If you applied via the Internet you can check the status of your application at the CGFNS Website. Usually, you have a username and password in which you used to sign up prior to being able to avail of any services. If you do not have a username you can create one at the CGFNS Website. And in most cases when you avail of any CGFNS service, you are assigned a CGFNS ID Number which is unique to every applicant. This number is your permanent number and everytime you will be availing of their services you would use this number. With that number you can inquire about the status of your application by giving them a call at this number: +1 (215) 349-8767 from 8am to 12 noon Eastern Time, Monday to Friday. Please be prepare on hand your CGFNS ID Number upon calling.
On their website, as mentioned you can create a username and once approved you can login to your account and on the left side you will find the question wizard which can also help you entertain frequently asked questions and if none of the answers there satisfy you, you can send them an email. More often than not, upon logging in to your account you can check the status of your application by clicking on the ORDER STATUS link on the left side of the site. Let me know if you have more questions :)

hello maam…just want to ask po maam kung yong dapat bang bayaran upon registering sa pearson vue is $200 po ba or is it $350 po since d2 po sa philippines ko po balak magtake.magkasama na po ba na babayaran agad un pag magregister na po ako or magkahiwalay po ang bayad ng pagreregister sa pearson at ung sa pag schedule po ng exam? tnx po maam….
Initial registration is $200. After that you will be given your ATT via email if you register online. The $150 you would have to pay that when you make a schedule for a specific test date.

hi, i just wanted to ask about the application form coz i came from 2 diff. school both i ‘ve studied nursing. hanggan 2nd yr. 1st sem lang po ako sa una kong school den nagtrasferred n po ako sa ibang school.  dont know if i have to write my 2 school  on the application form or is it ok to just put the one where i graduated.. tnx a lot
Usually, you have to check with the school where you graduated if the grades from your previous school were already endorsed to them. Ask them if the credited subjects are already reflected with your transcript with them. Each school has different policies so you have to verify. If they say that they do not reflect in their transcript then that is the time you would need to go to your other school and request a copy of the grades of the subjects you took there. I think it would be best to declare both schools especially if it would reflect in your school records that you are a transferee.

hi ma’am it’s my first time to see your site and i hope maybe u could help me. i received a reply from the  C.A. BON and in time i can schedule my exam but then i’m planning to visit a relative abroad, is it okay if i will take it in C.A. even if i applied here in the Philippines? will there be anymore requirements also,  afriend told me that i will have trouble processing my visa screen certificate if i took the exam abroad.. i’m so confused. pls reply. thanks
As long as you are eligible to take the exam you can take it anywhere. Just bear in mind the necessary travel documents needed prior to scheduling an exam date. Also, I do not see the problem in terms of the VisaScreen because the important thing is you passed the test not where you took it.
