hi maam. i am planning to apply for licensure in saipan and then apply for endorsement in illinois. are there problems that i need to anticipate if i go for this plan? pls advise… thanks a lot…

The expense is one of the main problems here since you would have to pay for your application in both states as well as fulfill their requirements. Why not just apply in Illinois if that is your target state? That way you save time and money.

hi miss joan.Tanong ko lang po about my ATT kasi i registered last Sept.22,09 but until now i did not receive my ATT. Lage ko pong tinitingnan ang ang email ko pati po yong spam/bulk mail pero wala po. Mga ilang wk po pa ba ang maximum for ATT to release?

How did you apply for your ATT via snail mail or online? If you applied for it online and paid for the registration it should arrive in your email within minutes upon paying and finishing the registration process. If you haven’t received any then it would be best to contact Pearson Vue so they can resend you a copy of your ATT or at least inform you whatever problems that may have occured in your registration with them.

hi ma’am joan i took vermont nclex in june 08 and failed and i’m planning to retake again as soon as i can and I think i figured out how thru research and forum in this site but there are few questions i wanted to ask:

1. is it possible to apply online/scan retake application form after filling it up and send it online and submit to vermont BON and pay online too like paypal?

I don’t think Vermont allows paying through Paypal and I don’t think that you can reapply online.

2. or send the papers as file but pay all payments thru online or have a friend from US pay it…would they accept it?

You need to send the papers manually still but you have to include the payment for reapplication. What you can do is either have a bank draft made or send your documents to your friend and then have her make a check payable to the OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE and enclose it together with your documents and mail it to Vermont Board of Registered Nursing.

3. is there any other requirement for retake that i shud need to submit aside from the retake application form with $30 fee?

I think that would be all but please make sure to include the license verification form (page 5) of the retake application form.

4. what would i expect back from the vermont BON after sending the retake application form?

You would usually get your LOE so you can reregister to PearsonVue for your ATT.

I just want to make sure i don’t miss anything to save my time and money as i targeted to retake the test around january next year. thank you and hope i can hear from u soon.

A piece of advice take your time this time in reviewing and try to see where and what you think went wrong during the first time you took it. Focus on the areas where you got low scores. Just a reminder, you need to pass this exam so that you would not have to go through the review course. Good luck with your ordeal let me know if I can help you in any other way.

I am a qualified nurse in China, I want to apply California state’s NCLEX-RN examination.  Nice to meet you! I want to ask a question about application form. year graduated hight school or passed ged, I do not know how to do, because I did not go to hight school, but I graduated technical secondary school and get  diploma, I also graduated college and get college diploma.

Thanks Yvonne for the kind words its very touching! High school is also called secondary school in other countries so that might be the equivalent in your country. As for your college diploma you would need to send the accomplished forms that you downloaded from the California Board of Nursing and send it to your school where you got your nursing degree. Yes unfortunately it is $350. The process itself varies depending on how many people are requesting for the said documents as well as how fast you can produce the requirements because they will not process your forms if the requirements are incomplete. If all things go smoothly give it a month or two. Usually you won’t receive a result they will inform you of the result but they will directly send the result of the evaluation to the New York Board of Nursing.
