Hi There. Well here is the thing the live scan fee kind of differs from one place to the other depending on the agency. What you can do is try to google search LiveScan locations near your vicinity. From there you can compare prices from different agencies. Just make sure to download and print the LiveScan form provided in the California Board of Registered Nursing website. Print 3 copies of the form, and then fill out all the information with an X. One copy is for the LiveScan operator, one for the CA BON when you submit your application and the last one for your own records. Hope this helps and Good luck!

In general, I think you would need to re-apply. But to be sure, it would be best to contact New Mexico Board of Nursing on what appropriate steps to take.

I would think that they would be able to verify that SSN. And if ever there would be issues the California Board of Registered Nursing would contact you via a letter. Or you can always give them a call to verify everything.

It doesn’t work that way. You just endorse your license to New York. The duration it takes to endorse would depend on a lot of factors. When you endorse you would still need to fulfill the requirements of New York such as the CVS for NY State.

Here is the thing there might be a possibility of it not being eligible. The best thing is to verify the chosen school with the Board of Vocational Nursing. I am really not familiar with how it works, but upon looking at their site it seems like they have some preapproved school or if you did not take it in California at least they are verified out of state and the last option is if you took nursing as a course. So as a precaution, before engaging into anything verify the school with the BVNPT. Hope that helps.

You can endorse to any state provided that you fulfill the requirements state you plan on endorsing to. But here is the thing, I am just worried that they might not issue you a license without a SSN. As for your H4 status I guess that would be best to be discussed with an immigration lawyer as they have far more knowledge with regards to this matter.

Congratulations on passing the exam. Here is the thing, I am not familiar with how the law works there in the UK because a lot has to be taken in consideration. Your status there in the UK will determine on what you can and cannot do. But the best advice I could give you is to talk to a lawyer who has a far more knowledge when it comes to these things.

Usually, what is being checked in your ATT when you take the exam is your complete name and picture and is then being compared with the information in your passport. But if you want to be sure you can contact PearsonVue and ask them if it would be an issue.

That’s okay as mentioned is that when they look at your ATT what is being compared is your complete name and ID picture in your passport.

California BON is getting Strict and conforming with the Requirement of TEXAS Board of Nursing (BON) a Philippine License Nurse is NOW REQUIRED Before you can have a NCLEX RN EXAM (ATT) with Pearson Vue TEXAS BON and CALIFORNIA BON will require CES (Credential Evaluation service) for all foreign Nursing Graduate check out  IERF.ORG and ERES and CGFNS they all provide Nursing Credential Evaluation

Last time I checked the California Board of Registered Nursing has not changed any of their requirements with regards to school credentials. The CES is NOT a requirement in California Board of Registered Nursing you just need to submit the school forms to your college/ university and then have them provide the necessary information and papers then send them.

Hi. My dilemma is about the endorsement of license from California to Illinois. I haven’t passed the exam yet. I don’t have an SSN. Somebody told me that I would not be able to apply for endorsement because CAlifornia issues the license once you have an SSN. Is that true? I have paid for California already and my ATT is now ready. What should I do? Thanks. I’ve got more questions to come after your reply. Thanks again.

As far as I know you still can as long as you inform the CA BON that you do not have a SSN yet. All you have to do is send the forms required by the Illinois to California BON and then include the fee they require for processing such requirement which you can find in their site. Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

hello po ms.joan.magre-take po ako NCLEX through Vermont.Send ko po yung retake form ko with 30USD last November 2008 pero until now wala pa ako narereceive na eligibility to take the exam.Di pa po ako bayad Pearson Vue ko kasi hinihintay ko pa yung eligibility ko.Meron po ba other requirements beside retake form?

If its your first time retaking the NCLEX-RN exam for Vermont, you just need to fill out the Re-Examination Form for International Applicants and pay the USD 30 fee. If you failed the exam twice, you must complete a formal NCLEX-RN review and then submit a copy of your curriculum plan, your certificate of completion, and final over- all score for the course plus the $30 re-application fee. It’s okay that you haven’t applied in pearson Vue, because once you apply there your one year validity period to take the exam will start. It would be best to wait for your eligibility prior to applying.

I applied for eligibility with the California Board of Registered Nursing and I was approved. I registered with Pearson Vue and was given my Authorization To Test. I called Pearson Vue last January 13 to schedule my examination and wanted it to be scheduled on “FEBRUARY 20, 2009″. Its only today (February 4, 2009) when
I logged-in to my Pearson Vue Account that I realized they scheduled me to take the exam on January 20, 2009 instead of February 20, 2009. My status says “No Show.” Does this mean that I have to register again and pay the same fees?

My financial resources at the moment is quite a dilemma and I am not sure if my parents would understand this. I hope you can help me with information on what to do. I am emotionally drained by this development and I would most certainly appreciate your assistance. Thank you very much in advance.

Unfortunately, that would be the case. You would need to re-register with Pearson Vue to be able to take the exam. But before you do that, please verify with California Board of Registered Nursing because they might ask you to reregister with them in order to get another eligibility.

There is a lot to consider in terms of the length of the registration process because each state differ in terms of requirements. New York, might take longer since you would need to get a requirement from CGFNS called Credential Verification System for New York State. That might add more time in terms of processing. If you endorse your RN license in another state once you need to fulfill the other state’s requirement and pay their necessary fees.

Welcome to the site! What they mean is that you have basically fulfilled the basic requirements in order to file papers to be able to legally work in the US. The next thing to do now is either you file for your VisaScreen which of course entails finances and together with that you would need to take the IELTS exam. Or you could find an employer that could shoulder the VisaScreen as well as fix your papers.
