How It Started
Ever since I graduated from college I was trying to find a way to channel my enthusiasm in helping people. There was something about being able to help and make a difference.
When I went through the process of applying for the various exams it left me confused, uncertain and anxious. I figured a lot of people might be in the same situation as I am. I started sharing with others starting from my friends then eventually to other people with the same predicament or difficulty.
I started making articles about applying and preparing for the NCLEX-RN examination in various websites that I was affiliated with. At first, I was doing these articles in my spare time and out of boredom from waiting for results of various examinations. I needed something to take my mind off my anxiety and doing this did just that.
When I took my NCLEX-RN examination I made a promise to God that if I manage to get through the exam I would help more people who are going through the same situation. By this time, the responses to my articles were great. I was overwhelmed. That’s when it hit me that there were really are a lot of people who were in the same situation as I am. They were going through the process of applying and reviewing and were clueless on how some of these things work.
On February 2008, I launched Philippine Nurses Info (PNI). It is an information site catered to Filipino Nurses and their queries with regards to application and reviews and other nursing knowledge. What makes it different from others is that PNI caters its response to fit to the reader’s concerns.
In the few months it has been running the response has been amazing and we look forward to seeing more of you here on the site for many many more years to come.
Thank you for your support here at Philippine Nurses Info.
